جيڪڏھن انس ڇيد کان وڏو ھجي، ان کي ابتو اڻپور سڏجي ٿو.

يا

جيڪڏھن اڻپور ۾ مٿيون عدد ھيٺئين عدد کان وڏو ھجي، ان کي ابتو اڻپور سڏجي ٿو.

مثال:

5/4 ۽ 7/6 ابتو اڻپور  آھن.

If numerator is greater than the denominator, it is called improper fraction.

Or

If top number is greater than the bottom number in a fraction, it is called improper fraction.

Example:

5/4  and 7/6 are improper fractions.
