A monkey climbed the roof of a house and entertained the people who had gathered below to watch it, with its antics. After it had gone, an ass who craved popularity climbed the roof and tried to perform the same tricks.
ڀولڙو گهر جي ڇت تي چڙھي ويو ۽ ماڻھن کي کلائي وندرايو جيڪي ان کي ڏسڻ لاء ھيٺ گڏ ٿيا ھئا. ھن جي وڃڻ کان پوء، گڏھ جنھن کي مشھوري جو ڀوت چڙھيل ھو اھو ڇت تي چڙھيو ۽ ساڳيون اٽڪلون ڪرڻ جون ڪوششون ڪيون.
In the process, it dislodged and broke several tiles. The owner of the house was furious.
His servants went up, drove the ass down, and beat it black and blue.
انهي عمل دوران، اھو ٿڙيو ۽ ڪيترا ٽائيل ڀڳا. گهر جو مالڪ تپي باھ ٿي ويو. ھن جا نوڪر مٿي ويا ۔ انهن گڏھ کي ھيٺ لاٿو ۽ ان کي ڏاڍي مار ڏني.
Moral:
Actions that suit others may not suit you. Be yourself.
عمل جيڪي ٻين کي زيب ڏين ٿا اھي توکي زيب نٿا ڏين.
